Choose a role, bomb action or lobby rule

Game Actions contains role cycling, three direct role choices and separate actions to disarm, explode or inspect bombs. Rule Modifiers contains timer freezing, mistake allowance and the smaller-lobby rule. Unlocks opens campaign level choices.

Infinite mistakes requires Premium. The other listed controls are free.

Set up before the mission

Open BOMBANANA!, select that exact edition in Bytonian Mods and follow the connection prompts. Host the lobby for the role and bomb controls. Load the role-switch package before entering a mission as Blind, so hidden scenery can be restored when changing roles.

Questions about BOMBANANA! mods

Does starting solo make every puzzle solvable alone?
No. The rule removes the three-player lobby requirement. Some bomb puzzles still need multiple players, even when you can switch roles.
Do I have to host to change roles?
Yes. Change roles from a mission you are hosting. Load the role-switch package before entering as Blind; if it was loaded too late, start a new mission first.

  1. Install Bytonian Mods

    Download the Windows app and follow the setup prompts.

  2. Open your game

    Open BOMBANANA! and select it in Bytonian Mods. Follow the app’s connection prompts.

  3. Choose your content

    Review the available options in the app and choose the ones that suit how you play.
