Change how your snake handles the round
Make your snake bigger, add speed to reach food faster, or try collision protection against tougher opponents. Each has its own control, so you can choose the changes that suit your next run.
A bigger start in Snake Clash!
Choose a larger snake level, then keep growing as you collect food. This snake has reached level 102.
Current level or starting upgrades?
Snake Level changes the snake you are playing with now. The Start Level option in Customise adjusts your starting upgrade count instead.
This control does not make your snake invincible or unlock skins. Your saved Start Level upgrade stays separate; after reloading, choose your current level again if needed.
Speed and protection during a run
Extra Speed adds 0% to 200% of your normal speed when you enable or adjust it. Turn it off to remove your boost. It is separate from the starting Speed upgrade in Customise; game power-ups can replace the boost.
Collision Protection helps against snake collisions during the current round. Turn it on before heading toward a stronger opponent and turn it off to return to normal collision rules. The round timer still applies; power-up transitions can briefly interrupt protection. Re-enable it for a new run.

Boost movement speedPremium
Add a movement boost to your current snake.
Enable the boost and choose Extra Speed from 0% to 200%. Changes apply straight away.
Before you use it: The boost uses your normal speed when enabled or adjusted. Game power-ups can replace it; toggle off and on to apply it again.
Collision protectionPremium
Help your snake survive collisions with stronger opponents.
Enable protection for the current run; turn it off to restore normal collision rules.
Before you use it: The round timer still applies. Power-up transitions can briefly interrupt protection; re-enable it for each new run.
Snake levelPremium
Choose your current snake level and watch its size and level label change.
Set a level from 1 to 100 before starting or during a round.
Before you use it: This does not change the saved Start Level upgrade or prevent your snake from losing a round.
