How to unlock Steam achievements for free
Bytonian Mods includes a 100% free Steam achievement unlocker for every Steam game you own that has Steam achievements. Your game does not need to appear in our website catalog. Add it in the Windows app using its Steam Store URL or App ID, then choose the achievements you want to unlock.

Add your Steam game and unlock achievements
Open Steam and Bytonian Mods
Keep Steam running and signed in to the account that owns your game. Open the Bytonian Mods Windows app.
Choose Add Games
Click the + icon in the left sidebar. Its label is Add Games.
Choose Mod Any Steam Game
In the menu, select Mod Any Steam Game. This opens the Add Any Steam Game dialog.
Enter the Steam Store URL or App ID
The dialog says: “Enter a Steam App ID or paste a Steam Store game URL.” Paste the game’s Steam Store address, or enter its numeric App ID, then click Add Game. The app opens the game’s Achievements screen.
Select achievements
Click Unlock beside each locked achievement you want. To select every locked achievement, click Select All Locked. Selecting an achievement does not unlock it yet.
Confirm your selection
Click Actually Unlock (N) Achievements, where N is the number selected. For one achievement the button reads Actually Unlock (1) Achievement. Use Cancel Unlocks if you want to clear the selection before confirming.
Check the result
Click Refresh to reload the achievement list. Completed achievements show Unlocked. You can set Show to Unlocked to find them.
How to find a Steam App ID
Open your game’s Steam Store page and copy the address from your browser. The App ID is the number immediately after /app/. For example, an address containing /app/252490/ has App ID 252490. You can paste the full Steam Store URL instead of extracting the number.
Choose one achievement or all locked achievements
Use Search achievements... to find a name or description, and set Show to Locked to focus on achievements you have not unlocked. Select All Locked selects every locked achievement in the game, including ones outside your current search or filter. Check your selection before using the confirmation button.
What if my game is not listed on the website?
Add it using the same steps above. Our published Steam achievement lists let you browse achievement names and descriptions before opening the app. They are not the full list of games supported by the achievement unlocker. Other mods and customisation options have their own game-specific availability.
Is the Steam achievement unlocker free?
Yes. Unlocking Steam achievements with Bytonian Mods is 100% free. You do not need to buy a mod package or have a paid membership. You need your own copy of the Steam game; Bytonian Mods does not include the game itself.
If achievements do not load or unlock
Check that Steam is running, that you are signed in to the account that owns the game, and that you entered the correct App ID. Then click Refresh. A game must have Steam achievements for a list to appear.
If the app says No achievement data is available from Steam for this game and account., it could not retrieve achievement data; this does not confirm that the game has no achievements. If an error remains or your selected achievements still show as locked after refreshing, contact support with the game’s App ID and the exact message shown.
