Riot Vanguard setup for mods

Exiting Vanguard can resolve a conflict with another program. Games that require Vanguard may stop launching while it is off; turning it off does not make those games supported by Bytonian Mods.

You can use mods in single-player, when hosting, or in supported co-op. When joining someone else’s game, do not use mods for an unfair advantage against other players. Follow the game’s rules; disabling anti-cheat does not remove account-ban risk.

Close Riot games and exit the Riot Client, including its system-tray icon.
Right-click the Riot Vanguard icon in the Windows system tray and choose Exit Vanguard. Confirm the prompt.
Open the supported game you wanted to play and follow its instructions below.

When you finish

Restart your computer before returning to a game that needs Vanguard.
